"Great Yellow Bottle" - oil 6x6
The great yellow bottle was given to me by my niece.  It leans just a little - enough to make you wonder who missed it - the bottle maker or the artist.  It wasn't me.

These onions were purchased as part of a salad and stir-fry.  My sister, also an artist from Tulsa, saw these purple onions in all their brilliance and extraordinary color, and said, "we have to paint those".  They were wonderful and found good light placed on my painting table in the studio.  Gorgeous.  SJo

Getting Started - oil 6x6
Apologies are in order since I boldly said I was doing a regular blog.  Life happened, and I have been very negligent.

A Rose Just Is - oil 6x6
I have decided, after much deliberation, and much examination of this thing of blogging, that I am committed to join.  It's a little late perhaps, but sometimes courage and just plain time to do it is an issue.  In the past two years I have begun two different blogs without continuing so now is the time!

Being back in Texas after 5 years, setting up the studio, and working to produce consistently has inspired me to jump into this arena.

With the gift giving season swiftly approaching I am offering a new category of original art along with the ability to simply purchase it from my website.  Having carefully observed the trend of artists offering small paintings at very reasonable prices for those who would be interested, I have, at long last decided to join this trend also.  Nothing slow about me ...

At this time all my paintings including the small ones can be purchased on my website by credit card through secure PayPal
